I read an interesting article here about how ‘everyone is a designer’.

Of course, this is a nothing new from my point view. I’ve worked with so many deeply talented people from many areas of industry, charities and community organisations and treating them as co-designers is second nature. Interestingly, not all organisations or people want to work that way. Some are happy to hand over responsibility to professional designers, like me and just let us get on with it. Others simply can’t find the time to commit. All of which is fine, of course.

But I always try to offer an inclusive way to work with clients, even if it’s just a token ‘buy-in’. If we all feel like we’re working for the same aim, it’s so much easier and faster to progress and also to stay on the same page.
